15 Division 1 football programs changed coaches, including 7 Power 5 teams. Three of these coaches are returning to their alma maters: John Bonamego played QB/WR at Central Michigan (1985-1986), Jim Harbaugh played QB at Michigan (1982-1986), and Paul Chryst played QB at Wisconsin (1986-1988).
